Trump Mobile has faced criticism for its marketing of the upcoming T1 Phone, with images that have been described as “dubious” and “Photoshopped.” The latest ad, posted on X, reveals the truth – it’s not a new phone at all, but rather a gold-plated S25 Ultra from Samsung. The image appears to be a render of the phone in a Spigen case, complete with the company’s logo.
The T1 Phone was initially advertised with launch dates of August and September, but now lists no release date. The company has also dropped its claim that the phone will be made in the USA, instead saying there are “American hands behind every device.” Furthermore, the screen size has shrunk dramatically, from 6.78 inches to a more modest 6.25 inches.
Spigen, a phone accessory brand, noticed the mistake and responded with a humorous comment on X, saying “??? bro what.” This latest development highlights Trump Mobile’s struggles with marketing its new phone.
