Trump told The Daily Mail he was surprised the Noem family confirmed the authenticity of the photos and expressed sympathy for them, saying, “I feel badly for the family if that’s the case.” However, it is unclear if anyone else in the administration knew about the alleged photographs.
The news comes amid a tumultuous time for Kristi Noem, who was ousted from her DHS post last week. The couple has been married for over 30 years and previously faced rumors of an affair between Kristi and her top advisor.
