Trump plans to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on Tuesday. His administration is pushing for a snapback of UN sanctions that were imposed in 2018 but allowed to expire last year.
The campaign, aimed at crippling Iran’s economy, seeks to punish the country for its alleged nuclear and missile activities.
