President-elect Donald Trump has ruled out appointing JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Jamie Dimon to any position in his administration, despite expressing respect for the banking executive. Trump selected former congressman Denis Kennedy instead for a role at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In a post on his Truth Social network, Trump thanked Dimon for his service to the country but made it clear he would not be considered for a government job.
