The UFC and America250.org nonprofit were quiet on details about the event, including how many fights would be featured. However, White stated that he spoke with President Trump Monday night and plans to visit Washington this month to discuss further. The president intends for Ivanka Trump to play a key role in organizing the event.
As the date of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence approaches, the UFC’s involvement has sparked debate about how it will be incorporated into the festivities.
