Trump Told Reporter to ‘Quiet’ in UK Visit Preparations

US President Donald Trump told a reporter from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) to “quiet” after being questioned about his business activities during a tense exchange ahead of his state visit to the UK.

The reporter asked if Trump believed a commander-in-chief should engage in business, and he replied that his children were taking care of his empire while he’s in the White House. However, things took a turn when Trump said, “You’re hurting Australia very much right now… Your leader is coming to see me soon, I’m going to tell him about you, you set a bad tone.”

Trump then told the reporter to “quiet” again, implying that they were being too confrontational. This exchange happened before Trump’s departure for the UK and has raised concerns among Australian officials.
