Trump Urges Middle East Cooperation for Stability

US President Donald J. Trump recently addressed a major gathering in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, outlining his vision for a more stable and peaceful region. In his address, he emphasized the importance of local leaders taking charge of their own futures.

Trump stated that it was the people of the region who drove out terrorism and extremism, rather than external interventionists. He praised the development of modern Middle Eastern cities, such as Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, which were built by local leaders.

The President also acknowledged the failures of past interventions, saying that Western powers had not been successful in developing countries like Kabul and Baghdad. Instead, he credited the people of the region with creating their own sovereign nations and pursuing unique visions.

Trump expressed his willingness to engage in partnerships with foreign leaders, even if they have differing views. He emphasized the importance of peace and stability in the region and announced US support for Lebanon’s economic development and Syria’s new government.

The President concluded by encouraging regional nations to put aside their differences and work together, stating that a cooperative approach would lead to remarkable progress and unity among nations.
