Trump’s Border Czar Dismisses Protests as ‘Not Relevant’

Tom Homan, President Trump’s border czar, has dismissed protests and rallies against the administration’s policies, including a recent case where a mother and her children were detained by Customs and Border Protection. The family was taken into custody because they are either witnesses to or victims of a child predator who shared explicit material with an undercover Homeland Security agent.

Homan stated that “decisions will be made based on the result of a criminal investigation” and downplayed the impact of public protests, saying “they can protest at a vacant house all they want, no one’s there.” He also touted Trump as a “game-changer” in terms of immigration into the US, claiming he achieved what the Biden administration could not in four years.

Homan’s comments come after protesters gathered outside his home in New York to stand against the detention of the family. The case has sparked widespread concern and criticism from human rights groups and advocacy organizations.
