Trump’s FBI Nominee Tied to Kremlin-Tied Producer

President Donald Trump nominated Bharat Patel as his new FBI director, but financial disclosure documents reveal a connection between Patel and a filmmaker with ties to the Kremlin. Igor Lopatonok, a Los Angeles-based producer, paid Patel $25,000 for participating in a documentary series titled “All The President’s Men: The Conspiracy Against Trump.”

The six-part series portrayed Patel and other former Trump administration members as victims of a conspiracy against Trump, airing on the Tucker Carlson Network last year. Lopatonok also produced the documentary “Ukraine on Fire,” which featured Vladimir Putin discussing the Maidan Revolution in 2013.

Patel’s financial disclosure shows ties to foreign entities such as the Embassy of Qatar and Elite Depot, a Cayman Islands-based company owned by SHEIN’s parent firm. Patel is now under scrutiny for his past affiliations, potentially raising concerns about his ability to lead the FBI impartially.
