Despite efforts to rent it out on Airbnb for $700 per night, the property has been largely abandoned.
The home’s new owners plan to undertake a gut renovation, but no permits have been issued by the city’s Department of Buildings yet. The sale marks another attempt by investors to profit from Trump’s childhood home, which has become a symbol of his family’s real estate empire.
