Trump’s Treasury Pick Reveals $521M in Assets

President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, has filed a personal financial disclosure revealing assets worth at least $521 million. The hedge fund chief listed a range of values for his assets, including real estate, art, and investments.

Bessent’s portfolio includes residential property in the Bahamas and North Carolina worth between $5 million to $25 million. He also holds significant amounts in ETFs tracking the S&P 500 and major currencies, totaling over $50 million each. Additionally, he has an investment in the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF worth between $250,001 and $500,000.
