Trump’s Ukraine, Tariffs, and Government Shake-Up Loom Over Washington

US President Donald Trump has shifted his stance on a proposed investment deal with Ukraine, saying it’s not dead after all. The comment comes as national security officials meet this week to discuss next steps on Ukraine, including the possibility of suspending military aid.

Meanwhile, Trump confirmed that tariffs on Mexico and Canada will go forward tomorrow, despite initial claims they could be delayed. He also hinted at imposing additional tariffs on agricultural products starting April 2.

As Trump prepares to address Congress tomorrow, he’s set to unveil a plan to overhaul the federal workforce, including buyouts of up to $25,000 for certain employees with limited time to accept.
