Trump’s Vengeance Backfires, Fuels Enemies’ Popularity

Donald Trump thinks his campaign of vengeance is fair after facing years of fake claims and censorship on social media. He says he now has the right to retaliate in kind, claiming that those who silenced him are trying to silence others.

However, Trump’s plans seem to be backfiring. His strategy of targeting enemies with public threats has been clumsy and overt, making even some loyal Republicans uncomfortable. When ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live, a show targeted by Trump for removal, the backlash was immediate. But instead of hurting Kimmel, Trump’s actions actually boosted his reputation.

Despite this being an unusual turn of events, one thing is clear: Trump’s tactics have not worked as planned. In fact, they seem to be having the opposite effect – making his enemies more popular.
