The Try Guys, a popular YouTube group, announced in November that two of their podcasts were closing down due to financial struggles. The flagship podcast “The TryPod” and another show “You Can Sit With Us” will no longer be available. Despite having a large audience, the podcasts couldn’t generate enough revenue through ads, mainly because of instability in podcast ad networks. As a result, YouTube’s revenue isn’t sufficient to support the podcast division anymore.
