Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) expects to achieve its highest profit in 2025, despite rising concerns about geopolitical tensions, tariffs, and volatile exchange rates. This forecast was made by TSMC’s Chairman and CEO C.C. Wei during the company’s annual general meeting.
Wei expressed confidence in the industry’s demand for artificial intelligence (AI), stating that it remains strong. However, he cautioned that a global economic slowdown is his primary concern. The company’s outlook suggests its ability to navigate the complexities of an increasingly uncertain global economy.
