Turning Point USA Hosts Patriotic Halftime Show Tribute

Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show” paid tribute to founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in September during a speech at Utah Valley University. The show featured performances by Lee Brice, Gabby Barrett, and Brantley Gilbert, followed by Kid Rock as the finale act. During his set, photos of Kirk, his wife Erika, and their children were displayed on video boards, with a tribute message.

The event aimed to counterprogram against the Super Bowl LX halftime show featuring Bad Bunny. Turning Point USA described it as an “opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show celebrating faith, family, and freedom.” The livestream garnered over 4.8 million viewers, with War Department Secretary Pete Hegseth and his family watching.

Brantley Gilbert spoke about performing at the event, sharing his story of overcoming addiction through music. He expressed pride in being a Christian, supporting military families, and living in a country with flaws but still loving it. The show marked a celebration of American values and patriotism, ahead of the Super Bowl LX halftime performance.
