Peacock’s original comedy-action series Twisted Metal is set to return on Thursday, July 31, exclusively through the streaming platform. The show’s second season consists of 12 new episodes and will follow John Doe (Anthony Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) as they compete in a high-stakes demolition derby tournament.
The post-apocalyptic world of Twisted Metal has seen society deteriorate, leading to the creation of mini-civilizations that rely on “milkmen” to deliver essential supplies. These milkmen have customized their vehicles with protection and weaponry, competing against each other in a series of challenges.
Twisted Metal season 2 will be available to stream on Peacock, with new episodes released every Thursday until August 28. The first three episodes will premiere simultaneously, followed by two more each week.
Viewers can access the show at a cost of $7.99 per month ($79.99 annually) through Peacock’s premium plan, which also offers live sporting events, hit TV shows and movies, and exclusive content.
