Two Critical Ages That Affect Aging Rate

A recent study from Stanford University has revealed two critical periods in life where the body undergoes significant changes related to aging. The research, which analyzed 108 participants aged between 25 and 75, identified two key ages: 44 and 60.

Researchers found that these ages mark significant biological markers of aging. Dr. Allison Aiello, a Longevity Professor at Columbia University, highlighted the importance of social and psychosocial factors in influencing aging.

Meanwhile, experts from Stanford University suggest that adopting a healthy lifestyle can significantly delay aging. Director Michael Snyder recommends a consistent exercise routine, along with eating healthy foods, to push back the biological clock.

According to Snyder, people tend to lose muscle mass after age 40 due to reduced physical activity. Strength training helps maintain muscle mass and mobility. Additionally, drinking less booze is recommended as excessive consumption can accelerate aging.

The study also notes that immune system decline begins in the 60s. To mitigate this, experts advise getting vaccinated during this period to boost protection. By adopting healthy habits and taking proactive measures, individuals can delay aging and improve overall health.
