Two Minnesota residents are waking up to life-changing news after winning $1 million in the state’s recent millionaire raffle. The winners, who purchased their tickets at Bill’s Superette in Nowthen and Casey’s General Store in Tracy, each received a whopping $5,000 bonus.
In total, over 15,000 additional prizes were announced on Wednesday morning, including five $100,000 prizes, five $50,000 prizes, and five $25,000 prizes. However, the two $1 million winners will need to head to the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville to claim their prize.
A record-breaking 800,000 tickets were sold within 15 days, with sales closing on November 5, 2024. This achievement marks the fastest sellout ever for the Minnesota Lottery. Winners of smaller prizes can claim them at any lottery office or by mail, while $100,000 and $1 million winners must visit the headquarters to collect their prize.
