UConn Extends Winning Streak to 41 Games with 91-49 Victory Over Seton Hall

No. 5 UConn has extended its winning streak over Seton Hall to 41 games with a convincing 91-49 victory on Wednesday night. The Huskies’ win, led by Paige Bueckers’ 23 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, marked their 41st consecutive triumph over the Pirates.

Bueckers, who scored at least 20 points for the 14th time this season, moved up to ninth place on UConn’s career scoring list with 2,166 points. The Huskies’ victory also kept them perfect in Big East play, as they improved to 15-0 in conference games.

Seton Hall initially stayed competitive, trailing by just six at halftime, but the Huskies took control with a strong second-half performance. UConn outscored Seton Hall 30-13 in the third quarter, and ultimately built a commanding lead that it never relinquished.

The win marks UConn’s fourth straight victory since losing to Tennessee on February 6th. The Huskies will look to continue their winning ways when they face Butler on Saturday.
