UFC Fighter Bryce Mitchell Condemned for Antisemitic Comments

UFC president Dana White has condemned fighter Bryce Mitchell’s comments about Adolf Hitler as “beyond disgusting”. The 30-year-old American, ranked 13th in the featherweight division, made antisemitic, homophobic, and transphobic remarks during a podcast episode. White stated that Mitchell needs an education on World War II history and Hitler’s atrocities.

The UFC has yet to take action against Mitchell despite White’s condemnation. Canadian-American journalist Ariel Helwani described the situation as “a new low” for MMA, highlighting the sport’s tendency to embarrass itself with bigoted comments. The Anti-Defamation League’s chief executive Jonathan Greenblatt called on the UFC to take immediate action against Mitchell’s comments.

The Holocaust genocide, led by Hitler, resulted in the deaths of six million Jews. Mitchell’s comments have sparked widespread criticism from fans and organizations alike, emphasizing the need for greater accountability within the sport.
