Ugreen’s MagFlow Power Bank Beats MagSafe Charger with 25W Qi 2.2 Certification

Apple’s MagSafe charger was the gold standard for wireless magnetic charging, but that’s no longer the case. Ugreen has just announced its MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank, which boasts official Qi 2.2 certification and can charge at a whopping 25 watts – matching Apple’s own charger.

This is a significant breakthrough, as it ensures broader compatibility with devices supporting the new Magnetic Power Profile (MPP). The updated standard also improves thermal control, power management, and charging stability, making faster charging possible through better magnetic alignment of charging coils.

Ugreen’s MagFlow power bank will start shipping in three months, alongside other Qi 2.2 products in this range. It also features a built-in USB-C charger for when wireless charging isn’t fast enough. This means consumers can finally access 25W MagSafe-like charging without buying an Apple-approved charger.
