One in six people in the UK experience low back pain at some point in their lives. A new study has found that most common treatments, including massage, exercise, and painkillers, offer minimal relief. According to researchers at the University of New South Wales, only one in ten treatments showed significant results, with many providing “only marginally better than placebo” pain relief.
