Russian forces launched nearly 90 attacks across three fronts in Ukraine, but failed to break through Ukrainian defenses. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a total of 138 combat clashes occurred on the battlefield over the past day.
The Kharkiv front saw two unsuccessful Russian assaults near the city of Vovchansk, while Ukraine’s defense forces repelled four Russian attacks in Russia’s Kursk Oblast. On the Kupiansk front, Ukraine successfully defended against six Russian attacks near Zapadne, Dvorichna, and Kruhliakivka.
The Lyman front was the site of 16 Russian attacks, but Ukrainian forces held their ground despite attempts to break through defenses near Nadiia, Makiivka, Terny, Hryhorivka, and Serebrianka Forest.
Ukrainian forces also repelled successful assaults on the Siversk front near Bilohorivka, the Kramatorsk front near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, the Toretsk front near Toretsk, New-York, and Shcherbynivka, and the Pokrovsk front where 38 Russian actions were stopped.
On the Vremivka front, Ukraine’s defense forces repelled 24 Russian attacks. The Orikhiv front saw two unsuccessful Russian assaults near Novoandriivka. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continued to inflict significant losses on Russian troops in both manpower and equipment, undermining Russia’s offensive potential in the rear.
