Ukraine Reveals Shocking Casualty Figures Amid Ongoing Russia Conflict

Ukraine has confirmed its total casualty figures for the nearly three-year conflict with Russia, revealing that 43,000 soldiers have been killed in action and a staggering 370,000 more were wounded since February 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared this information on Sunday through a Telegram post.

The announcement came after US President-elect Donald Trump stated earlier that Ukraine had lost “400,000 soldiers” during the war. However, Zelenskyy has consistently disputed these estimates as being overly inflated.

In February 2022, Zelenskyy initially reported 31,000 troops killed in action, but declined to provide a figure for wounded soldiers due to concerns about giving the Kremlin too much information.
