Ukrainian President Vows Continued Resistance Against Russian Aggression

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the ongoing conflict with Russia, vowing continued resistance against aggressive tactics and appealing for international support. In a statement from Zaporizhzhia, where rescue efforts are underway after recent bombing raids, Zelensky praised Ukraine’s first responders and services for their bravery.

Zelensky condemned Russia’s actions along the front lines, stating that Moscow has shown no signs of intent to stop the conflict. He emphasized the need for sanctions and pressure on Russia, citing the support of key international partners like the US, Europe, and Sweden.

The Ukrainian leader also highlighted progress in combat aviation development with Sweden and reaffirmed energy cooperation with Azerbaijan, despite recent attacks on critical infrastructure. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the US, particularly President Trump, for his commitment to ending the conflict.

In a call to action, Zelensky thanked all those supporting Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty, while also praising Ukrainian soldiers fighting against Russian forces in various regions, including Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia.
