UniCredit Sees Strong Q4 Revenue Growth Amid Net Profit Decline

UniCredit Group reported its total revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 at €6 billion, a 0.7% increase year over year. However, net profit declined by 18.4% to €1.6 billion, and earnings per share dropped 6.7%. For the full year, total revenues rose 4.3% to €24.8 billion, while net profit increased 8.1% to €9.3 billion.

CEO Andrea Orcel stated that the group’s fourth quarter was strong, following 16 quarters of quality profitable growth. The company also announced its best-ever full-year net profit at €9.7 billion and plans to increase the cash dividend by 50% in 2025. This move is seen as a gesture of generosity towards shareholders, further solidifying UniCredit’s commitment to its distribution policy.
