Unihertz, a Chinese company known for its small Android handsets, has announced the Titan 2, a modernized version of its first BlackBerry-inspired smartphone. The new device offers significant upgrades over its predecessor, including 5G connectivity, a faster processor, and Android 15.
The Titan 2 features a redesigned keyboard layout, improved cameras, and a thinner, lighter design. It boasts a 4.5-inch screen with increased resolution and a second 2-inch screen on the rear for monitoring notifications and taking selfies.
Other notable upgrades include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an infrared port, dual-band GPS, and an FM radio. The phone is powered by a Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device’s QWERTY keyboard has been improved for a comfortable typing experience.
The Titan 2 is available through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, with retail pricing expected to be around $399. Early backers can preorder the phone for $269. Shipping is set to begin as early as October 2025.
