United Airlines Ramps Up Airport Lounge Fees to Combat Crowding

United Airlines is increasing the cost of accessing its airport lounges as part of efforts to reduce overcrowding. Starting soon, customers will pay $750 per year or 94,000 miles for individual membership, while an “All Access” tier priced at $1,400 or 175,000 miles will offer lounge access to guests accompanying loyalty program members. The move aims to curb congestion since the pandemic.
