A United Airlines pilot allegedly forcibly removed an Orthodox Jewish passenger from a plane bathroom while he was experiencing constipation, exposing his genitalia to other fliers during a flight from Mexico to Houston. Yisroel Liebb, of New Jersey, filed a federal lawsuit against the airline and US Department of Homeland Security, claiming they made disparaging remarks about his faith and held him in handcuffs for several hours after landing. The pilot also allegedly made offensive comments about Liebb’s Orthodox Jewish identity during the incident. United Airlines has declined to comment on the allegations, citing ongoing litigation.
