The proposals cover critical areas such as national security, infrastructure, energy, innovation, and learning. These policies aim to:
– Ensure the freedom to innovate by promoting voluntary partnerships between the federal government and private sector.
– Export democratic AI through proactive promotion of American AI systems globally.
– Protect intellectual property rights while preserving America’s AI lead.
– Seize infrastructure opportunities to drive growth, create jobs, and modernize energy grids.
– Advise the US government to adopt AI tools at a pace comparable to the private sector.
OpenAI believes that America excels when it bets on American ingenuity. The policy proposals are either derived from or updated versions of the Economic Blueprint.
