US citizen Edan Alexander, who was held captive by Hamas for over a year, has revealed the conditions he faced during his time in captivity. According to Alexander, he was moved around Gaza and held in various locations including underground tunnels and mosques.
Alexander lost significant weight due to being forced to drink seawater and eating only dirty bread. He described his captivity as “a year of hell.” Despite the harsh conditions, Alexander was allowed to see news and learned that his parents had met with US President Donald Trump on the anniversary of his abduction.
