The US is expecting a busy week of economic reports. These include the January jobs report and the consumer price index (CPI), both happening close together due to a partial government shutdown that delayed them. Normally, these are released on different days, but with the shutdown, they’re now back-to-back – the jobs report comes out on Wednesday, followed by the CPI on Friday.
