The No. 1 seeds Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper defeated Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev 4-1, 4-1 in the quarterfinals of the 2025 US Open Mixed Doubles Championships presented by Vital Proteins. The top seeds’ aggressive play paid off as they extracted three break-point opportunities and converted on the third to take an early lead.
Pegula and Draper maintained their dominance, taking another service game away from Andreeva and Medvedev in the second set. Although their opponents managed to fend off two match points, the top seeds’ solid play ultimately sealed the win in just 36 minutes.
The winners will face No. 3 seeds Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud in the mixed doubles semifinals tomorrow night, looking to break the Polish/Norwegian duo’s serve for the first time.
