The US government has announced that it will allow retirement savers to purchase certain types of cryptocurrency tokens, effective immediately. This move is seen as a significant development in the adoption of digital assets by institutional investors.
Under the new rules, registered individuals will be able to access free articles, newsletters, and personalized content from the Financial Times. However, to access the full range of digital content, including quality FT journalism on any device, users must subscribe for €69 per month or pay a year upfront with a 20% discount.
The subscription includes complete digital access to quality FT journalism on any device, excluding access to ft.com and the FT App. Essential digital access is also available for organizations, which include exclusive features and content.
This move aims to increase investor participation in the crypto market by making it more accessible to retirement savers. With over a million readers already paying to read the Financial Times, this development is expected to boost the adoption of digital assets by institutional investors.
