US Trade Deficit Narrows to Narrowest Since September 2023

The US trade gap has narrowed significantly, with the goods and services deficit shrinking 16% from May to June. The revised figure stands at $60.2 billion, according to Commerce Department data released on Tuesday. This represents a narrowing of the deficit since its peak in previous months. Economists had forecasted a slightly higher deficit, with the median estimate at $61 billion.
