Valorant Update 10.01 Patch Notes: Rank Shields and Tejo Fixes

Riot Games has released the patch notes for Valorant update 10.01, which brings several significant changes to the game. One of the key updates is the introduction of Rank Shields in Competitive Mode, designed to protect players’ standing and reputation ratings (RR) while competing.

In this update, players who lose a match at 0 RR will have one shield consumed, leaving them with one shield remaining. If they lose again at 0 RR, their second shield will be depleted, demoting them to a lower rank. The shields only protect players in the first tier of their rank, meaning those in higher ranks such as Gold 2 will not benefit from this feature.

Tejo, the new Agent 27, has also received several bug fixes. These include resolving issues with his Guided Salvo projectile getting stuck on Sage’s Barrier Orb and showing an incorrect damage zone after explosions. Additionally, Tejo’s Artillery Missile was fixed to no longer appear as stuck when cast outside of the map.

The update also includes various other bug fixes for agents, maps, and console systems. These changes aim to improve overall gameplay experience and stability in the game.
