A duo’s reckless act has sparked outrage after they chopped down the iconic Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian’s Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Prosecutors described their actions as “moronic” and sentenced them to four years in prison for destroying the beloved tree.
