Sports streaming service Venu, backed by major networks ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery, has been canceled before launch. The decision comes as other platforms have made it easier for cord-cutters to access sports content. The joint statement from the networks cites an “ever-changing marketplace” and a need to focus on existing services, including its own streaming platforms.
