Verstappen Pays Tribute to Departing Red Bull Boss Horner

Max Verstappen has expressed his gratitude towards outgoing Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner, reflecting on their “incredible successes” and “breaking countless records” together. Horner was announced as CEO and team leader by Racing Bulls’ Laurent Mekies after more than 20 years in the role.

Verstappen joined Red Bull from sister team Toro Rosso in 2016 and achieved impressive results, including 64 victories, 116 podiums, and 44 pole positions. He won four consecutive F1 Drivers’ Championships (2021-2024) under Horner’s guidance.

Following Horner’s departure, Verstappen posted a statement on social media, thanking him for the team’s successes and expressing his appreciation for their partnership. The Belgian Grand Prix will mark the start of Verstappen’s new chapter with Mekies at the helm.
