Norwegian golfer Viktor Hovland secured his first PGA Tour win since 2023’s Tour Championship with a late surge, beating American Justin Thomas by one shot. Hovland carded a four-under 67 in the final round to overtake Thomas, who was leading after 15 holes but faltered with bogeys at 16 and 18.
Hovland’s three birdies in his last five holes put him ahead of Thomas. The 27-year-old expressed calmness despite being behind, crediting good shots and putts for his success. American Jacob Bridgeman took third place, a shot back from Hovland, while Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune and Americans Bud Cauley and Billy Horschel tied for fourth at eight under.
