Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis has revealed that she judged some of Chadwick Boseman’s choices on the set of “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”, unaware he was battling colon cancer. The film, which marked Boseman’s final project before his death in 2020, took place a year after his diagnosis with stage III colon cancer. Davis admitted to being judgmental towards Boseman’s need for extra care, but later expressed her admiration for his dedication to the craft of acting.
