Wall Street Firms Predict S&P 500 to Reach New Highs in 2025

A dozen top Wall Street firms have shared their predictions for the S&P 500’s performance in 2025. The collective forecast is optimistic, with many expecting the US stock market to reach fresh all-time highs next year.

The most bullish prediction comes from Wells Fargo, which expects the S&P 500 to rise as high as 7,007 by the end of 2025. According to equity strategist Christopher Harvey, a favorable macroeconomic environment and rising corporate profits will drive the market upwards.

Other firms have slightly lower targets, with Deutsche Bank predicting a peak of 7,000, while HSBC expects the index to reach 6,700. However, some firms are more conservative, with BofA targeting 6,666 and UBS forecasting 6,400.

As the S&P 500 currently trades at 6,090, these predictions offer a glimpse into the market’s potential trajectory in the coming year. With many experts pointing to a supportive regulatory environment and rising corporate profits as key drivers of growth, investors may want to take note of these predictions when making their own investment decisions.
