Walmart Issues Multiple Product Recalls Across the US

Walmart has issued multiple product recalls across the US, citing concerns over food safety, choking hazards, and manufacturing defects. The company has stated its commitment to customer health and safety, ensuring that products meet regulatory standards.

Recalls were issued for food items such as canned tuna from Genova and Van Camp’s brands, due to a risk of food poisoning from a manufacturing defect. Another recall affected Louisiana oysters sold at Walmart stores in the state, following 191 confirmed cases of norovirus.

In addition to food recalls, Walmart has also pulled products from its shelves due to choking hazards, including Gerber Sooth N Chew Teething Sticks for babies and young children. The company has also recalled Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix in 11 states due to a potential milk allergy risk.

Medication recalls have been issued for fentanyl transdermal patches manufactured by Kindeva Drug Delivery L.P., which could be stacked and cause adhesion issues. Other product recalls include America’s Got Talent microphones with lithium-ion batteries, LG electric ranges, AliExpress Multi-Styler Hair Dryers, Vornado Air VH2 Whole Room Heather air purifiers, HAITEATBNB Electric Immersion Water heaters, Lexmark International Specialty Printers, and Northern Tool + Equipment Adjustable Swivel Shop Stools.

Walmart works quickly to remove recalled products from its stores and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The company’s product safety professionals monitor recalls closely, providing swift action in the event of a product defect or manufacturing issue.
