US retail giant Walmart is eliminating jobs and closing its office in North Carolina, as part of a broader relocation strategy that aims to consolidate employees at main hubs in California and Arkansas. The company has issued an internal memo outlining the changes, which include relocating some offices to new locations in Bentonville, Arkansas, and Sunnyvale, California. Employees have been given a month to inform the company if they plan to move or stay behind.
