Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to Receive Regular Updates This Year

Focus Entertainment has addressed growing frustration among Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 players over the lack of new content. The publisher promised regular updates throughout 2025 and beyond, including new skins, PvP and PvE maps, custom lobbies, Horde mode, prestige ranks, and new weapons.

The Datavault update, set to arrive in February with update 6.0, will feature a perks rework, a long-awaited Field of View (FOV) slider for PC, and several other improvements. The FOV slider has been a highly requested feature since the game’s launch, and Focus Entertainment is committed to delivering it.

The update will also introduce new content, including a Tomb PvP map, a Biovore enemy in PvE, the Salamanders Champion skin, and Raven Guard cosmetics. Additionally, a new area called the Datavault will be added to the Battle Barge, offering unlockable information and cosmetic rewards.

Focus Entertainment emphasized its commitment to delivering polished updates, which takes time and care. The company promised regular updates every two months, with more changes on the perks in future releases.
