Warzone Ranked Play Returns to Urzikstan with New Rules and Rewards

Call of Duty’s popular battle royale mode, Warzone, is back in action for ranked play after a several-month hiatus. Players can now gather their squads and compete in Urzikstan, the new location for ranked battles. Here’s everything you need to know before diving into your first match.

Warzone Ranked Play is played on Urzikstan in Battle Royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. To progress through the skill divisions, known as “Skill Rating” (SR), and unlock unique rewards, players must perform well in matches. The top-ranked players will earn exclusive skins and cosmetics, while those who excel will gain more SR from kills.

There are no restrictions on party size, allowing full squads to join forces without any limitations. However, more specific information on rules and loadout restrictions will be revealed closer to the mode’s launch. Before playing, familiarize yourself with our recommended best weapons for Warzone.

The Skill Divisions in Warzone Ranked Play include:

– Bronze
– Silver
– Gold
– Platinum
– Diamond
– Crimson
– Iridescent
– Top 250

Each division has its own rewards, including the Champion rank, which unlocks an exclusive skin. To access BR Ranked Play, players must first place in the top 15 in Battle Royale or the top six in Resurgence across 30 matches.

Ranked Play offers various rewards beyond climbing the ladder, such as:

– Rank rewards
– Win challenges
– Seasonal rewards

To earn Skill Rating, players will be judged on their placement and elimination performance. The amount of SR gained from an elimination is now tied to rank, so killing higher-ranked opponents results in more SR gain.

A new rule this year allows for a single “mulligan” loss per day, giving players one opportunity to recover from a poor match or a laggy opponent.

Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
