A public hearing is scheduled for December 9 as the IrgensMandel Group proposes a high-density apartment development in Wauwatosa’s office park. The project, designed by Milwaukee-based RINKA, aims to utilize an underutilized parking lot and activate the Research Park. If approved, it will also provide a terminus for Wisconsin Avenue.
Irgens, a local developer, had previously planned an apartment building on the site but now plans to sell the land to Mandel Group. The project is part of a flurry of new apartment developments in Wauwatosa, including proposals from other developers such as Three Leaf Partners and Milwaukee’s Revel Investments.
