Whistling Sound in Nose Linked to Deviated Septum

A peculiar whistling sound was noticed by software marketer Bradley Rhoton while carving pumpkins for Halloween in 2017. The unusual noise, which occurred every time he inhaled through his nose, led him to visit an ear, nose and throat specialist. After a diagnosis of deviated septum, Rhoton underwent corrective surgery, including the removal of turbinate structures that were causing inflammation. This procedure aims to improve breathing by addressing the issue when other treatments fail.
