The 2025 Championships at Wimbledon have begun with several high-profile matches. On the men’s side, Carlos Alcaraz edged past Italian journeyman Fabio Fognini in a five-set thriller on Centre Court. Alexander Zverev faced off against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech but ultimately lost in a tight tiebreaker.
On the women’s side, Emma Raducanu began her Wimbledon campaign with a straight sets victory against British wild card Mingge Xu. In contrast, Raducanu and Boulter showed impressive form in their respective matches. Their first-round wins set the stage for an exciting tournament ahead.
